Where Flowers & Wildlife Bloom

It's always a pleasure photographing couples in places that have a sense of calm to them, and Mount Tamborine Botanical Gardens had exactly that feeling. The Japanese garden was especially peaceful. We spent some time wandering through the paths. There was something about the quietness of the garden that made everything feel a little slower.

Later in the afternoon, we headed to a lookout nearby. We arrived just as the sun was beginning to set, and the view was one of those moments where you almost forget you’re there to take photos. The light, the mountains, and the two of them simply enjoying the moment together made for some of my favourite images from the day. It was a quiet afternoon, but sometimes those are the sessions I remember the most.
