A Beautiful Memory Recreated

Some places become special because of what happened there. For this couple, this was the place where he proposed. So when they decided to have their maternity photos taken here, it felt right to bring that memory back into the session.

We started by recreating a little piece of their proposal — returning to the same place, remembering that moment, and capturing them together as they are now. There was something quite special about seeing the two of them standing there again, only this time with a baby on the way.

After recreating that memory, we continued with their maternity session around the same location. The session became less about simply taking maternity portraits and more about connecting two different chapters of their story. The place where they once stood as a newly engaged couple was now where they were celebrating becoming parents.



Sometimes the location isn't just a beautiful backdrop. Sometimes it holds a piece of someone's story and years from now, when they look back at these photographs, they'll be able to remember not only the excitement of waiting for their little one, but also the place where one of the most important moments of their story first happened.
